Three Americans Died At Bahamas Resort, Investigators Looking For Answers

They just had people died at that same Hotel a few years ago from breathing in some kind of toxic material coming in through the air duct system

The CBS news doctor did a little victim blaming IMHO. They went to an emergency care center. They must have been concerned. I doubt they would just go back to their rooms unless the medical personnel assured them that they were fine. The Bahamas do have both public and private hospitals, albeit small.

Visited Bahamas a few years ago including a stop at that same airport. Beautiful country, nice people, but everything felt VERY sketchy, it is just apparent that things aren't held to the same standards of safety and order that we're used to in the US. It was a relief to get back on US soil.

Happened at hotel my family stayed at Christmas in Key West (Doubletree) years back. It was from the furnace on an upper floor, and 1 person died of carbon monoxide poisoning. We were all evacuated. It was one messed up, exhausting holiday.

Natural gas leaks cause a lot of misdiagnosed illness .
Common cliche, go outside and get some fresh air ; should be followed with the question, what is wrong with the inside air ?

There is a problem at many of these resorts with personal alcohol bottles being refilled with poison. This has happened many times. It was huge in Italy as well. The villa tenants have no idea, it's usually found in bottles that are not sealed in your rooms.

Investigators lose all of their amazing skills on cases like this. Not sure where they go but they entirely disappear. They never find anything on high profile odd cases and always get to keep on investigating so they can "fail" over and over. People's hip to what that area is and why it's guarded from real prying eyes that start looking at the wrong things.

Medical advice while traveling from the doctor SOUNDS fine, but out of US care network, some hospitals want fees up front, in cash.

People dont find this out until they experience it. Even travel insurance pays after-the-fact. As for the clinic these poor folk used, saddly it did not work out. Why were they discharged? That's an investigation
