The music is one the biggest reasons the show works emotionally as well as it does. Without the actors and this music, the show wouldn't be half as good. The music helps paper over a great deal of the flaws in the show's writing.

This soundtrack added so much depth and feeling to the show. As someone who has listened to most of Ólafur Arnalds' songs prior to watching the show, it couldn't have been anyone else but him who created such masterpiece.

I've never seen any episode of this show but I was making breakfast and I heard the music when my Mam was watching TV, bloody hell it's chilling and eerie, I had a couple of quick flashes of John Carpenter's The Thing, the soundtrack was by Ennio Morricone, that's amazing, eerie and dark, full of suspense. Music's one of the rare Universal languages, doesn't matter if you speak Welsh, Latin or Lebanese, feelings are the most genuine things and music brings that in magical boat loads =)
