Supreme Court Reserves Order On Pleas Seeking Court-Monitored Probe Into Rafale Deal

A crucial hearing in the Rafale deal is currently underway in the Supreme Court. The apex court is examining the price details of Rafale fighter jet submitted by the BJP-led NDA government. The Supreme Court said that as of now there is no need to discuss the aspects of pricing in Rafale fighter jet deal. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said that it needs to be debated only if the court decides that aspects on pricing need to come in the public domain.

People need to understand that S&P Sovereign rating of France is AA whereas India is 7 rungs below at BBB-. Based on the Credit rating, it is the French Govt which needs to have a Sovereign
Guarantee from India (in case India is unable to pay for the Rafale fighters under production after the order has been placed). Thus, the Comfort letter from France is more than enough.

1. If urgent or emergency Modiji should have used the contract already signed by UPA ...and why price was escalated and offset partners changed to Reliance! Are that too urgency to get kickback through Reliance?
2. Now even if the Dy Secretary must sign offset partner then BJP, and GOI have been lying to parliament and public that Dassault selected the partner.

3. Avionics and armories were in the UPA RFP and then why BJP has been telling lies after lies? If there is some minor upgrades in avionics and armories were included hiw the price increased by 300% ? Crony capitalism to save and promote Reliance by sacrificing national security, national interest building the public sector HAL and cause g huge loss to public funds Rs36000crs loss to Govt?
