For a couple years now I've been following Mike's Folk Horror facebook page Verrotwood... and he's finally come out with his rules for his collection! Want to lead a sinister cult in the depths of an apocalyptic wood against other degenerates desperate to survive? This is the game. Let's have a look.

As soon as I heard "folk horror" and "you play a cult" I instantly thought of a cult to Shub Niggurath and her Thousand Young. I also thought of the cultists from Frostgrave. They would be perfect minis for this.

If you like VERY Dark Fantasy there is a new Indie game that is making HUGE waves at the moment call 'Fear and Hunger'.

It's brilliant, and it's best if you go in knowing NOTHING about the game; supereypatch wolf and others have released in depth videos but they really spoil a lot of the 'Ah ha!' moments, even from right at the start of the game, that you come across, so go in blind if oyu can.

There is one proviso; The game is INCREDIBLY NSFW. I mean the most NSFW you can think of in a dark way. There is a mod available that removes a lot of the visual stuff, but the themes are still incredilby dark.

However the game is still amazing...
