Join us as we take a preview tour of the Gibson Garage - the ultimate guitar experience and a new must-see destination in the heart of Music City. Located in the historic Cummins Station, the Gibson Garage opens its doors to the public on June 9th.

In this episode of The Scene, Host Mark Agnesi, along with Mark’s special guest, country artist Niko Moon, takes viewers on a tour of the Gibson Garage. The Gibson Garage, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, combines a live performance venue with interactive brand storytelling, a Custom Shop Made To Measure experience, historical and celebrity memorabilia displays, a Repair & Restoration Center, and a public retail shopping experience with hundreds of guitars, amps, and pro audio gear from Gibson USA, Gibson Acoustic, Gibson Custom Shop, Epiphone, Kramer, Mesa Boogie, and KRK. Mark also shows Nico areas of the Garage that the general public doesn’t normally get to see, including the Artist Relations Lounge and content creation space, the Velvet Lounge with its bar and kitchen, as well as the Library, which leads to a secret vault containing historic guitars like an original 1959 Les Paul, 1958 Korina Flying V, 1957 Les Paul TV Special, and a 1961 SG Standard.

Whether you are a seasoned professional, a casual player, a beginner, or just a music fan, the Gibson Garage will be a must-visit destination on your trip to Music City.

When I started playing guitar at 8 yrs old, I was excited just to buy a can of Gibson guitar polish, so I could own something that said Gibson on it. Now many years later I’m fortunate to own several Gibson guitars and still inspired by the brand, just as I was when I was a kid.

I had no idea the Garage had all this behind it, I got the opportunity to visit the garage in September of 2021, and it is absolutely incredible. I’m fortunate enough to only live two hours away, so if I wanted to buy a new Gibson/Epiphone/Kramer/Mesa, It would just be a short road trip to get it from the source. For those of you who don’t live near or around Nashville, but love playing music or just music history in general, I highly recommend stopping by. Its right in the heart of Down Town Nashville, and is a wonderful experience. The staff and everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice, and overall it’s just a great experience. Mark absolutely hit a home run with this one.
