Nabanna Abhijan: Paschim Banga Chhatra Samaj students are marching towards the state secretariat “Nabanna” from Kolkata’s College Square this afternoon. The Kolkata police which called the march “illegal” are using water cannons and tear gas shells on the protesters who are resorting to breaking barricades and throwing stones at the policemen deployed along the route. Some protestors express their anger at the CM of West Bengal for her alleged incapability of ensuring public safety.
