Most of you are so uninformed in the comments. YG didn't approach 2ne1 1st. The girls did because they wanted permission to promote again using the 2ne1 branding more than just that one coachella performance. The talks went better and they ended up making a deal for the tour.

2NE1 still has so much potential left despite being legends of their generation. YG will definitely be the agency to look at for in 2025 with 2NE1, Blackpink, Babymonster, Treasure, AKMU, and hopefully Winner hitting on full strides. I know people are gonna bring up BTS but we already knew that ahead of time. 2025 has to potential to rival 2009 which is still considered the best year of kpop.

The way they treated there artists is despicable and unacceptable. BLACKPINK didn't want to stay signed to yg but they stayed because of they love for the fans and the group. 2NEI was just dropped disbanded out of nowhere of no notification which was crazy.
