Mill Gill Force Waterfall, Askrigg | Landscape Photography

Mill Gill Force is a dramatic waterfall near Askrigg, North Yorkshire. The Mill Gill waterfall walk takes you along side Mill Gill Force, Whitfield Force and numerous unnamed waterfalls. As it has been raining in North Yorkshire for 2 weeks prior to this video, the water flowing over Mill Gill force was spectacular. In this Landscape Photography video I hike along the waterfall walk and photograph Mill Gill Force and another waterfall further along the walk during Autumn.

I have tried to be as accurate as I can with the names of the things I spotted but as there is so much variety out there, some of the names may not be completely accurate but I did my best so you get an idea of what it is.

Great couple of shots of Whitfield Gill lower falls John. I need to cross over to Wensleydale (from Swaledale) for a visit. In late spring there are loads of bluebells in those woods and in early June the first field through the gate is full of buttercups.

Great episode John, had some good laughs! I loved seeing the beautiful scenery as you walked around, I wished you could have carried on further, just because I didn't want the video to end yet! Stunning colors and beautiful photos as usual :) Our family life has been so busy, I totally missed autumn this year, it only lasts about 2 weeks here in our area, the leaves are pretty much all changed and gone now. So I'm thankful to be able to enjoy the colors and scenery from other photographers, thanks for sharing!
