Considering that Gen 9 is closing in on 2 years, you'd figure they would raise the odds beyond base level for shiny Gimmighoul(Especially for a shiny that's very hard to differentiate).

Just for reference, if you, like me, were wondering "How many raids do I need to do?" but don't want to calculate the odds yourself:
2844 raids to have a bit over 50% of having encountered a Shiny.
5688 for 75%
9446 for 90%

For anyone who faces these full odds to get a shiny, you have my admiration. May the RNG be in your favor

Two tips for anyone hunting for shiny Gimmighoul:

1) To check if it’s shiny without having to defeat it: Run away and then go to the Pokédex -> Recently Battled Pokémon -> Details. If you encountered a shiny one, you’ll see the shiny symbol at the top left

2) To reset the raid crystals on your map and have new Gimmighoul to check: With your game running, set your Switch’s clock back one minute, then return to the game
