Doxa holds a special place in my heart ♥️. Its serene waters, embraced by the forested mountains, truly live up to its nickname 'the Greek Switzerland.' 🇬🇷🇨🇭
This artificial lake, completed in the late 1990s, lies at an elevation of 900 m in the Feneos region, surrounded by lush oak and pine forests.
The serene waters of Lake Doxa are fed by the small Doxa River, creating a scene of tranquil reflection. Adding to its charm, the lake is home to a small peninsula where the picturesque church of Agios Fanourios ⛪ stands.

🔔 Saint George Monastery overlooks the lake from its higher position, blending spirituality with the breathtaking scenery.

Lake Doxa is more than just a view; it’s an experience of peace, nature, and timeless beauty.
