I've always love Jane Eyre. I read it as a twelve year old and fell in love with the story of the plain Jane winning her love.

I love this book it is one i can read or listen to, over and over again! This and Villette are my all time favorites!

When teaching, i found that the best way of drawing students towards Classical Music, was to get them to listen to my full dramatisations of the classics - which i've just now posted on Youtube. The result was that not only did they wax enthusiastic about the music, but in many cases, went on to read the entire book in question. And no doubt that's where you come in ! Good luck.
