The Outsider has a rare kind of "omniscience", he knows the result of all the actions the protagonists can take but he doesn't know what they will take, he knows everything that could be and enjoys seeing what turns out in the end.

I mean in death of the outsider at the final mission he literally tells billie something like "I can see all futures and even I can't see what's next" Can't remember if this was during the conversation or when interacting with a void glitch

Its not that he has future sight perse its more of he exists outside of time and normal space so he observes all things past present and future all at the same time. Time doesnt work in a linear fashion with him

It’s also heavily implied (might even be confirmed not sure) that the outsider is entirely blind while in the void

I recently replayed dishonored 1 and 2 and I’m prolly just tripping and missed some dialogue, but I honestly think that the outsider might have carefully curated all the events that take place during the games so he could ensure that timeline would lead to his release, or death.

I mean, if Corvo visit his shrine in the lady Boyle mission before going to the party, the Outsider says that he can see either she will die tonight or live until her fine clothes go tatter.

The outsider cant see a set in stone future, its more of possible outcomes. I feel like the outsider was a misunderstood god, he truly wished for the world to prosper. Notice in the first game, he is detached from humanity, giving gifts as if he is seeing what they would choose to do with them. By the second game, he moves around as if he was actually alive, and seemed to push emily to do right, like her father did 15 years prior. The reason for this most likely came from the outsider having feelings of joy to see one follower finally take the path he hoped for. The possible timelines he can see are shown to us with each playthrough, being the chaos system. I also would say the outsider is not able to see every outcome of the future as he straight up tells Daud he will be killed, but canon dishonored has the outsider being free of his position as god, returning to live as a human. The outsider was unable to see the possibility of being set free by Billie, meaning his foresight is not all knowing. He cant say for certain what will happen, it's still left up to human choice, and even then he can't see a possibility if he has no knowledge it can happen.

Did you read the whole book yourself? Its always interesting to see the story and lore behind this amazing game. Perhaps maybe, if you can get the time...you can make a video about summarizing the book for those of us who hasn't read it. It would be a video I know I would be very eager to look forward to. Keep it up man. Lots of love and support to you.
