How to Network in the MUSIC INDUSTRY!

Networking is one of the most important things when starting a business career. Remember it's not all about what you know, it's about who you know. You want to make as many connections as you possibly can. An easy way to build a connection is to give someone something more than they give back to you. Think of the "give more than you receive" saying. Also keep in mind to not expect anything back from the person all the time. So when you do receive something it's all good. Unfortunately you will get burned, it's part of business. The ones that don't burn you and realize that you're serving them a good purpose, those people will build the best relationships. Keep other peoples intentions in mind always. Patrick has spent years promoting all these artist he wants to feature on his album, now that he has relationships with hundreds of artist, he is able to get something in return from them. The relationships can be beneficial in terms of finance. Keep this mind: Never burn a bridge for no reason, even if you are insulted by someone, do not burn that bridge because you never know who can be a valuable connection to you in the future. Be respectful, be nice, that's it.
