I just painted a gas station today. :) was surprised that I was rejected from so many gas stations. I had asked permission but they didn't allow me too suit on there property/paint it. Finally I asked if I could sit across the street at the taco bell and paint it from there and they agreed. Nice banana cake!

I struggle to "tile" paint, or alla prima paint... I really like the way gouache allows one to paint larger areas, then paint over it again if you blunder!  Video ordered and on the way... hope to get better at this... Thanks

I've Sakura Koi watercolor palette. And it's plastic. Can you advice me to make DIY tripod field easel for this? I saw on your blog about making tripod field easel and seem that you are using magnet to hold your palette because your palette was made from metal.
