The main points of the NBE notice about the test city selection for NEET-PG 2024 are:

1. Rescheduled Exam Date: The NEET-PG 2024 exam will now be held on 11th August 2024 in two shifts, instead of the previously scheduled 23rd June 2024.

2. New Test Cities: Due to additional security measures, the exam will be conducted in 185 test cities across the country.

3. Invalid Old Admit Cards: The test city and center details on previously issued admit cards are no longer valid.

4. Re-selection of Test City: Candidates must select their preferred test cities again during an online window from 19th July 2024 to 22nd July 2024.

5. Selection and Allocation Scheme:
- Candidates will choose four preferred test cities from the available options within their state of correspondence address.
- If the preferred cities are not available, they will be allocated nearby cities.
- Allocation will be random from the choices provided, and preferences will not be considered in order.
- If no preferred city is available, candidates will be allocated a center in the nearest available location or any part of the country.
- Those who do not select any preferences will be allocated a center anywhere in the country.

6. Final Communication: Allocated test cities will be communicated via email on 29th July 2024, and the specific test center venue will be provided in the admit card released on 8th August 2024.

7. Shift Allocation: Candidates cannot choose their exam shift (morning or afternoon); shift timings will be notified later.

8. Revised Information Bulletin: All relevant clauses in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2024 are revised accordingly.

9. Further Information: Additional details about the exam will be published on the NBEMS website.
