▸ JoJolion (ジョジョリオン) is the eighth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, serialized in Ultra Jump from May 19, 2011, to August 19, 2021.
▸ The story begins in 2011 and follows Josuke Higashikata, a young man afflicted by retrograde amnesia, in his search to uncover his identity in Morioh Town, a Japanese coastal town affected by the Tohoku earthquake. However, his digging pulls him and his adoptive family into the unfinished business between his previous life and an impending inhuman threat.
▸ JoJolion represents the second part of the series to be set in the second continuity, also known as the "Steel Ball Run Universe".

That’s exactly how I interpreted it. Yasuo is so isolated that “wonder of u” has to REALLY reach far out to get ahold of something to damage her. In other words, that plane door would not have come off if yasuo hadn’t attempted to pursue the head doctor, but the fact that she’s SO isolated has caused “the wonder of u” to kinda go “oh, shit there’s nothing nearby...what can I use, what can I use....AH! That plane flying overhead, perfect!”

Remember that guy at the TG hospital that said that Josuke, Rei and Yasuho couldn't meet the Head Doctor because he was bussy for the rest of the day, along with the people at the lecture of regenerative medicine.

On the reddit post about this chapter, someone mentionned that Josuke may have stolen the calamity with his bubbles without knowing it. It would make more sense if Josuke redirected the calamity towards Tooru and ended up killing him with the plane door instead of it just randomly hitting Tooru and killing him

The "ho are you approaching me" and "my 7k yen shoes destroying your 200million yen rokaka" for jotaro's 20k yen pants callbacks was so good. oh and also the plane door LOL. man im scared that yasuho will die to that plane door BUT after we saw the plane door, yasuho was fine and did not trigger the calamity, so that plane door isn't going for yasuho, maybe for tooru or tooru controls it for a plan. man what a wonderful chapter

I think the plane door is part of the calamity going after Yasuho, but somehow Yasuho is going to be able to get Tooru between her and the plane door to take him out at the same time, so Tooru is defeated by his own calamity

Yo. I just realized that the Head Doctor had opened a drawer when he pushed Josuke down. So it does make sense that Born This Way was able to attack him
