2014 - 2018: Silverado / Sierra - Center Console Upgrade w/PnP Harness

For those of you with a Jump Seat in your 2014 - 2018 Silverado/Sierra and looking to upgrade to the Full Center Console, here is a video showing my Plug and Play Harness and how easy this upgrade can be!

The date is 3/4/22 ordered this harness from this guy. Received it in 3 days, quality product. Well, I finally got the center console and jump seat swap finished. I will add a couple of comments or tips for anyone that is doing this. 

Before you set the center console in the truck, you need to look at some plastic pieces that hide a support for the dash that is just to the right of the gas pedal. If you pause Mr. Gamboa's video at 5:57 you will see the bare support to the right of the gas pedal. There are two pieces of black plastic that hide that support that must be removed or the side skirt on the driver's side will never fit into place. ]

Another tip is that the side skirts can only be installed after the console is bolted in place but BEFORE you snap the top of the console with all of the electronics into place. There are slots in the side skirts that accept a plastic blade that aligns the top to lock the skirts in place. If you don't know about these items, you will take the new console in and out several times because things just won't fit correctly. I hope that this helps someone.

I ordered a console from eBay, the full brand new console and then the harness from P. Gamboa. I had questions and after emailing, I received responses within minutes. With this harness and his help this console installed quickly. Everything works as it should and I am happy with my new console. If you are considering this swap, buy this harness.

I just got finished swapping out the jump seat for a center console using Phil's video and wiring harness. Everything worked just like he showed and it was super easy. If you are really serious about making this upgrade then get order the parts direct from GM and purchase a wiring harness from Phil. You cannot go wrong. Just completed the center console upgrade I purchased the console and the wiring harness from Phil very easy upgrade the harnesses look like original equipment just plug and play.
