Lol…I had a cat that would do the same thing. His name was Gus. He’d put his paw on the door knob to say “ let me out” and cry outside the door to say…” let me in”! He lived to be a ripe old age of 12. Lost his teeth etc. He was a sweet boy and we miss him dearly! Hugs to your kitty 🐱♥️🌷

You’ve both done well in learning to communicate and understand each other. My wife and I have had 6 cats in our long marriage and they’ve all been highly intelligent and good communicators. We lost our last 2 in the past year which saddened us immensely. Enjoy your friend!
