Would be a huge missed opportunity to not include rival marriages. It feels so much better seeing villagers also marry and start a family. Makes it more like the world is alive and not like the entire world revolves around your character.

The clothing shop has already been fixed in today's update! They're quite fast at fixing issues!

They've been sending out a daily bug update at least once a day so far. The Dev team and community managers are so committed to making sure we feel heard. I'm so happy with this game so far. I can't wait to see the growth and full release within the next two years.

I've been waiting for this game since day 1 of their kickstarter. Was too late to join as a backer, but I'm definitely buying this the second it is available on Steam. Cannot wait to sink my teeth into this game.

Even though it's Early Access, I'm fairly confident the game is in good hands as the devs seem proactive and competent.

pretty sure this town was a big tourism spot before the oil spill... after the oil spill people stopped coming here... it would explain the well decorated and beautiful environments even after people stopped coming... and this oil spill wasn't that long ago as far as i know so there hasn't yet been enough time for things to fall apart just yet... only the economy with no new tourists...

I really miss rival marriage from Harvest Moon, it would be awesome if some of the marriage candidates do end up together.

I'll wait for a zoom-in option. I want to be able to see my character up close. The faraway view is immersion breaking for me.

Thanks a lot for your honest review Josh! I'm like so many of us also very hyped for this game-i was born and raised in an island in Indonesia-don't live there anymore tho- but totally agree with you that I would love to see the island bit shabby with old rattan furniture and that with time as the island grows it'll change the overall look with better looking rattan and bamboos furniture.
But I also get it that the dev also mixed it with probably other Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea (with Sakura).
I'm so ready to prolly sleep for few hours later tonight after work-but now I'm rethinking if I'll buy it later at 5 pm ...

Josh, I really appreciate your videos so much! I pretty well only play farming and life sims, and trust your opinion on any upcoming ones. Though I will say that I have been looking forward to Coral Island for a long time. So, I appreciate these videos even more!

I think the devs said they are working on more customization options so I'm looking forward to it. According to steam I've played the alpha for 217 hours. Safe to say I'm enjoying it lol. Great video as always!

I played a bit of early access once I got my steam key (I’m an alpha backer) and fell in love so fast I immediately stopped playing, I want to wait until 1.0 to really dive in and experience it as the developers full vision <3

Ohhhh this makes me so excited for Coral Island! I'm trying not to spoil myself with streams, but I see so many people enthusiastically streaming it. This bodes so well and makes me SO EXCITED AHHH

I have to wait to play since my laptop isn't meant for gaming, but by the time I can, I imagine a lot of the bugs will be ironed out. Thank you for the review videos as always!

I hate that whenever there's a new farming game and I find it intriguing, I always get "LOL just play Stardew". Do these idiots ACTUALLY THINK we haven't? We're out here looking for indi farming games, no shit we've played Stardew. It's like saying "why play other fighting games when (insert whatever franchise here) exists?!"

Got it as soon as I could. And even tho I found some bugs and VERY weird translations (to german) the game just makes me smile so much. It's so cute, good and just what I needed after this wave of weird farmgames. I really love it.
Thanks for this video. I can't wait for the full release and what else is to come.

Diving looks pretty fun otherwise I don't see anything new from this game. The same system used in SV with different outfits and story. I will definitely wait for the official release. No need to rush picking it up now.

I was also an alpha backer so been playing the EA a lot the last two days and really enjoying most things so far. Only have a couple gripes, one being the music weirdly cutting in and out and the other being bug catching, a lot of the bugs feel way too difficult to catch and sneaking doesn't seem to be helping me at all, they still get alerted too fast to even get close.

I'm also a bit on the fence about the number of characters, worried the cast might be a bit TOO large to really get attached to them like you would with a smaller group of characters.

I didn't have the chance to try the game yet despite being really hyped about it, i was waiting for some reviews before deciding whether to get it or not, and i cannot deny that from what I've seen so far I'm a little bit disappointed, don't get me wrong it looks good and charming overall but it's just a bit "lacking" so i appreciated your honest review and look forward for more updates of this game or maybe even try to hold myself until the full release(sorry for my bad english though, i tried my best😅)
