IN-DEPTH REVIEW of the NHL 18 Beta

The skating feels way different on the beta. Now it feels as if the players are actually skating instead of just gliding on the ice. I love the fact that u can edit your lines etc before you search for game. Also, if u change player as an example straight from faceoff, it changes to different player than it did on 17. Overall great beta I have to say! Thanks for review!

Hey Brian just wanna say keep up with the videos, have been a fan here for a couple months and am looking forward to NHL 18 content!

Also wanted to say that the goalies are WAY better in many situations, like glitch wraps and breakaways. I could score 70% breakaways on 17, I couldn't score 1/5 even on 18, whether that is good or not, I do not know entirely. Hopefully though that means it's not an automatic goal going forward.

In ways, I'm glad the dekes are hard, as they aren't abused but there's no reason to make them harder than Fifa skills, and I can barely pull half of those off. Clicking in a stick on a controller is hard on ANY game, let alone a hockey game. Kind of annoying but, good in the same sentence.

Anyways keep it going! Saw you on the leaderboards the other day and I was like "Hey, that guy does YouTube" LOL

P.S. 3s are fun for like 2 games and then they get so bad. They need to fix the scaling of the special pucks or remove them for sure. Nerfpls

It looks so real..now Ik they playing with our emotions on Madden..the player movement and visual development, from the crowd reaction to the players is on point.Im about to lowkey start watching hockey again.I don't really know anybody in NHL, gotta get a favorite team.Die hard Mighty Ducks

Personally, I hate the way the changed the stride deke and between the legs deke. Both of them were really useful but now they are confusing and clunky.I also thing the speed of versus is slow. Unplayable for me.(Ye I play HUT bb)
