I get why some people say they don’t physically resemble each other, but honestly I think it suits the character of Nat. After 25 years of hard drugs and alcohol, your 40 year old self would look very different from your teenage self as well

Juliette and Sophie may not resemble each other physically the way the other actors do, but wow does Sophie nail Juliette's voice and mannerisms. What an amazing job they did with casting. I need season 2 like right now thank you

What I love about Nat is that they took the rough as guts character, with a poor / 'trailer trash' upbringing -- these characters often don't get treated very kindly in television shows. They took her and made her one of the kindest characters (or... least likely to kill you, which passes for kindness in this show lol). Really subverting expectations. She puts on a tough exterior but you can tell she's really hurting inside, and she seems like she geniunely doesn't _want_ to hurt anyone. Which I can't say the same for everyone else lol. Complexly acted by both Lewis and Thatcher. Tragic character.

Sophie Thatcher is the revelation of the series, imo. She's equally gorgeous and charismatic. What a stunner.

They did such an outstanding job finding an actress able to impersonate Juliette's voice and mannerisms that well. They don't resemble that much physically as the other actresses but you know it's her.

Juliette Lewis is stunning as always but Sophie Thatcher does a great job of playing the younger version of Natalie and she does a fantastic job of matching her acting to that of Juliette Lewis’ adult version of Nat. The casting for this show is perfection. Iconic.
