Do you ONLY use APS-C Lenses with your Full Frame camera? If so why!?

#3 some apsc lenses cover 90% of the sensor in the a7Iv using active steady shot (video mode)

here is a few lenses I recommend:
sony pancake 20mm f2.8
sigma trio C ( 16mm f1.4, 30mm f1.4 and 56mm f1.4)
viltrox 13mm f1.4
Canon sigma 18-35 f1.8

You sacrifice resolution when using APS-C lenses on the A7IV and switching to Super 35 (33MP -> 14MP). That being said, you can still shoot amazing photos and videos with 14MP if you know what you are doing and if your final product is for social media, web content or small prints. I have the a6600 as well and I plan to add the A7IV specifically for this same purpose. I will use the a6600 for surfing photography in a housing and when hiking or traveling. I will use the A7IV when doing landscape and commercial work. I have several APS-C lenses such as the Sigma trio, Sigma 18-50mm, Sony 18-105mm, Sony 10-18mm and only two full frame lenses Sigma 100-400mm and Sony 90mm Macro. I will eventually add more FF glass but in the meantime I’m happy with my APS-C lenses aka “non professional” glass. The full frame is for professionals and switch to full frame rhetoric is exhausting. Skills > gear.

I have a canon t6i ASPC 24 MP Would the Sony A7IV in crop mode for photos be better than the old camera I have now?? I plan to get Sony glass but just want to use the aspc glass to hold me over for the mean time! Thanks

Seems like massive expense buying a A7iv to just shoot cropped. Why don't you save your self money and shoot on the A6*00?

Do you find the quality of photo decent after crop? Im worried about having something like a 10mp cropped photo, especially if zooming in. I’m considering an upgrade to an A7iv from an apsc cam.

quick question, can you shoot 4k video on A7IV with aps-c lenses ?

This is what I want to do. I have an A7iv and I just returned the 24-105 as it was too heavy. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I struggle with my strength. I was told in various groups on Facebook the quality with the crop will not be as good as an a6600 and should just get a apsc if I'm doing that. What are your thoughts? I mainly shoot video and I may do a few photos for personal use, but only for Facebook, nothing too serious.
