Mine does show way too high temperatures. I took it into the fridge for reference and it stopped at 11°C (should be 7°C). Its also showing like 25°C when it should be 21°C. Seems like there is a calibration issue.

will there be issues if I use this outdoors?

(i'm planning to use it as a calibration tool for my raspberry pi projects both indoors and outdoors)

Mine isn't even close to the correct temp. Sat in a cool room for three hours and dropped from 33.7C to 32.9C. Laughable.
