As a note to anybody watching this trying to gear up their level 80s for cata: you can do Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and Halls of Reflection on regular Heroic difficulty and it will count as a gamma dungeon meaning you can do your daily gamma quest and get Defiler’s Scourgestones before being able to even queue for gammas

Good guide, main thing I have problems with nowadays is finding a guild to play with. Since most pugs are GDKP raiding hasn't really given me any gear.

in all honesty as a reutning veteran in preperation for Cata I would have to say this guide is really good BUT if you are a new player following this... well be ready. You will have to face the reality that little guild running ICC atm not to mention pugs outside of GDKP and those groups that do runn ICC require unreal GS for it. For example Iseen an ICC10 normal today that was taking only 5600 gs+.

Sorry but I dont get it. The furious pvp gear you're showing at 7:11 is ilvl 238 and costs honor. When I go visit Area 52, its ilvl 213 for honor - Otherwise its arena points???

buy gold, do a gdkp, or both and do a bunch of heroics. my warlock (5.3k GS) funneled money for my DK who'se GS is ~5.7k and he is going to funnel my paladin

ohh trust me.... PEople won't mind joining random heroics with full Epic furious pvp gear unenchanted no gems.
They love getting Boosted. it's a bit frustrating it works like this
i guess it gives people a good way to gear alts...

it's a bit frustrating as a 6, 5k gearscore player who run the heroics for Gold for example.
To Get DPS that are doing so bad damage, that you are forced to disband the group.

i don't blame em thou, i kinda blame the system that it isn't smarter.
Like PvP Gear should have 0 ilvl when joining duengon finders. Except for some small cases such as shoulder+legs is bis for feral tank very often or for warrior/pally tank aswell.
