I used to burn in the sun even with sunscreen within 15 mins and have horrible burns by 45 i did not tan unless the burn turned into a super faded peeling tan. I am a broadly European fair haired and blue eyed person. you know when the sunburns stopped? increasing animal fat and removing all seed oils. check the seed oil free community and people repeatedly ask if others have experienced this I got a pool 3 tears ago and spent 4 hours a day in the summer in direct sun and was not burning. last year I had a dark tan sitting on my doorstep in the afternoon an hour a day. I never use sunscreen and tbf I only used it in the past at the beach when I was younger. i don't use chemicals on my skin or consume them in my food.

I first noticed this happened many years ago when going keto and eating avocado and eggs every morning. I was confused and wondered if avocado made you not burn. now 3 years seed oil free and healed from a laundry list of medical conditions including severe mental illness w a psychotic feature as well as digestive, other skin issues and diabetes AS WELL AS insulin resistance I am sold that the sun isn't bad or dangerous and its insane to believe it is.

Sunlight is good. Tanning beds are bad.

Sun is good. Sunscreen is good. You need both. Also, skin cancer is real (melanoma). Learn this while you're young.

My sister and I are 1 year and a half apart in age, I’m 32 and she’ll be 31 tomorrow.
She doesn’t wear sunscreen and goes out in the sun all the time and quite often gets sunburned.
I go out in the sun but I cover up and wear sunscreen and make sure I go out in the mornings and evenings when the sun isn’t at its hottest…
Everyone thinks I’m get younger sister because of the sun damage my sister has caused to her skin…
Sunscreen isn’t bad, just make sure you’re using a good quality one.

I tan very nicely and I'm not an outdoor person so because I hardly spent time outside it just doesn't make sense to me to wear sunscreen for a while I was obsessed with sunscreen because my grandma had skin cancer several times but she was fully white with gray eyes. I'm pretty sure I can handle takeout the trash without sunscreen

My entire existence feels like it's dependent on being outside and in the sunlight. Without those two things, I become a very unhappy woman.

You need to stop telling people not to wear sunscreen. No, you're not going to have issues if you go outside for 10 minutes without sunscreen every once in a while, but you definitely need to apply SPF if you're going to spend the whole day outside. Don't get too obsessed with it, but protect yourself.

It’s good to get sun from a sunroom or leaving a door open, direct exposure is too controversially opinioned on for me to know, but if you want a tan then stand with your back to your screen door or go on your deck for an hour, if you want the vitamins then take a walk and play outside for a bit….theres no need to go extreme
