I watched this guys full video. Amazing. He rode for miles on this abandoned track in California. His friend was in front of him then behind him on the way back. Both had homemade carts. Went on for miles.

My grandpa in Idaho built a Speeder just like this that we would run on the abandoned logging rail lines all over the mountains.

I feel like I missed out on something amazing where i grew up. Its all destroyed now. Hundreds of miles of tracks pulled out. Through some of the most amazing country. Its all Atv trails now. Which is also cool but nothing like we could have done with scrap and junk. No steering components, just stop and go. Easiest go cart you ever built. How did i not see the potential.. this is awesome.

Great little setup . I can imagine just cruising down the rails enjoying the views and wind in face just a laid back way to enjoy the day

The wheels need to be more cone shaped for better turning when there’s a curve, it’ll give you better speed on turns and stop all that friction.
