I have a question, Google Maps updated their app icon on my iphone7, now the travel time from start point to end point does not count down while driving, Ive tried doing a few changes but no luck.

i have somewhat of a difficult question.. when i look up directions to a certain location from another, it tells me (from the starting point) head about 2.5 miles then turn right, for 1.5 miles then turn back left (this road runs comes to a stoplight). the road I started on runs right into the same stoplight with a left hand turn lane. why would Google tell me that route instead of reamaning on orginal road & turning left at the stoplight?

Thanks for the good info. I have a question that I can't seem to answer. When I enter an address, I can zoom in and see the actual house or lot, but once I hit Directions I cannot see that detail any longer. How can I continue to see the property detail after getting directions? Sometimes I arrive at my destination and can't tell which house it should be because it is after dark? Thanks. Hope I'm not missing something simple

Hey there thanks for the vid. Sometimes when I'm trying to add an image to street view, it won't let me pick the map listing and instead insists on choosing "Set Location" which I can't do because I often upload these when I get back from traveling and can't navigate the map back to where I was. Why is choosing a map listing not a choice? It's the far easier and superior way. There are hundreds of pics I can't upload because of this error 😩
