Interesting, for how long can this zooming lens mechanism function?

Yeah the little flash is literally a cherry on top, especially Leica did not charge extra for this. And yes the flash is powered by the camera itself. It only works with five cameras supposedly: Leica D-Lux 109/7/8 and Panasonic LX100 mark I/mark ii.

What are your thoughts on the camera for night photography being a m4/3 17mp? I currently have a canon g5xmii and looking to upgrade.

Is there not a high risk that a telescoping fixed lens will suck in dust the you'll not be able to get rid of?

Basically a Panasonic LX100 MkII (now discontinued) with Leica interface. I love my MkI, and the hotshoe makes it great for low-light indoor use. I’ve shot a paid event job with it and a Godox TT350 while my a7III sat in the bag as backup 😂.

Have you set your screen to 60fps? It improves the quality A LOT… Found this by accident.

Good fast review. I have a question that I may have scaped on all the reviews or no one has addressed: Does it have touch screen focus or does it only have that center focus like my old D-Lux 5? Thanks in advance for your response.

Question, I can’t find it this camera any where. But I friend of mine has a Dlux7 to sell for me. It’s in great condition. But not sure if it’s worth it. The price is under the price market as well

Can you please check if the camera "remembers" the focal length? Or does it start up in 24mm always?

Would love the same style/size camera with the 15mm 1.7 lens bolted on instead. As much as the zoom offers versatility, I’m not a fan of the retractable lens due to size/look and speed of use.

Do you like Leica cameras however I don't think there's anything this camera could do that couldn't be done by an Olympus Pen series camera. I dunno. With this one, I think you're just paying for the brand.
