Federal investigators are looking at the safety harnesses passengers were wearing during Sunday's deadly helicopter crash in New York City. The five people killed were part of an aerial photography tour, and the pilot was the only survivor. Kris Van Cleave reports.

Why is the fuel supply out in the open to where something like this can happen?? This is very sad.

Sad, this crash was possibly survivable. A lot of things wrong: Bags near the fuel cutoff switch, passenger harnesses that were not quick release, one flotation device failed. I wonder if they where even wearing lifevests since they were over water.

Of course it will be a while before NTSB determines the official cause. Bag hitting a fuel cutoff switch? Maybe. Pilot shifting blame to someone else? Maybe.

Pilot might have cut the fuel shut off switch himself so he could be another TV personality .
