NEGLECTED T-top Fox Body Mustang Gets (Basically) Fully RESTORED!

In this video, we cover the work it took to restore this Fox Body Mustang back to its original glory (with some upgrades along the way). The worst problem with this car was the T-tops, T-top frames, and doors, which were leaky, disconnected from the car, and completely misaligned, respectfully. Thank you for making this video! I have an 88 that I’m working on. I’ve had a rattle that I couldn’t figure out. Now I know there is a bar inside the t-top frame. I had found the broken rivets and replaced them but didn’t know about the bar.

Impressive these cars hold value where 400 hrs at 100$ rate is no biggy. That’s putting the fox 🦊 mustangs on par with c10 pickups or closing in on those mopar restorations. Can’t think of another efi model that has this market.

I have an 88 t top and a 87 t top. Aero t top cars are the coolest fox bodies. Less 88 t tops built than 93 cobras.

Why didn't you replace the front and rear thin felt strip weather stripping at the top of the t-tops? I came to this video hoping to see you did this because I'm replacing mine. You did remove the rivets that i saw in the beginning. Has to be leaking like crazy now.
