This game is impressive because it immediately kills off the biggest motivation killer of games feeling unimmersive because they feel painfully obvious that they are just a small constrained world stuck within the limits of a sky box and nothing is real or matters. This game looks beautiful and expansive in a way that indie games usually aren't.

You don't have to let me explore the entire universe in your game, but It should always feel like I could if you simply unlocked the door for me.

Hope the gameplay holds up to the visuals.

This looks so similar to Sky:Children of the light. I love it. Sky was an absolutely beautiful story of friendship, light and overcoming darkness together. It honestly almost felt like LOTR with all the green lands and hills, then you end up at a volcano that looks eerily similar to Mount doom. It’s terrifying when you’re alone, and you’re likely to be found and killed by the flying black wraith-like creatures, or get destroyed by the harsh conditions of climbing the volcano. But if you bring companions and hold hands to help eachother up the volcano, the journey is much more doable. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten past the volcano yet. I always lost my light, was left alone, or died, and my companions almost always ended up struck by lava rocks or lost all their light and died. It’s actually a bit emotional tbh. I hope this game has some of those emotional/heartstring factors that always make a story so much more deep and enjoyable.

Just finished the demo for this and immediately wishlisted the game. Influences from Journey, Breath of the Wild, The Pathless, which are all games I love.

If you guys like the vibes of that and can't wait for the release check out Ni No Kuni, particularly the first part. It even has official studio Ghibli cutscenes and it's s absolutely wonderful. Will be checking out Europa as soon as it drops, my kinda gaming. Cheers.

Well the demo doesn't looks like the trailer, but the game is so relaxing is like a dream, it definitely will be an switch sucessor game
