i would love to see writing content! i've been trying to write my novel this year and as a mentally ill unemployed 21 year old who's writing in her second language, it's easy to get discouraged sometimes but seeing your journey would probably motivate me to work on it more <3

have fun with camp nanowrimo, it sounds a lot of fun!! i've always been intimidated by nanowrimo so i've never participated lol i'd love writing vlogs!

I began writing seriously in 2021 and am now in the process of editing my first two books before finding beta readers and querying. My idea is a trilogy that sets up a fantasy world I intend to write a second series in as well (if not more). I do not claim to be an expert, but as an avid reader, I would say be kind to yourself in the months you are really buckling down to write and plan lighter TBRs. It always helps to read while you write but my brain also writes fantasy best when it's a bit bored and has space to imagine. My November TBRs are lighter for this reason. Strangely this is my first time hearing about NANOWRIMO July camp, despite taking part in November writing since 2021 (though I committed to a schedule for myself of writing or editing something daily even if I'm in chronic pain and it's just a sentence and I do the heavy lifting to finish books in November so I have December "off"). I hope you're able to find a schedule that works for you because there's a million different ways to plot or pants but however your brain does it is best.

I wrote my first novel years ago for Nano, and now that book is an award winning published novel. So yay for being brave and trying the hard thing. It is totally worth it. Good luck!
