E60 M5 - Eventuri Intakes + Stage 2 Remap - Dyno Run

The E60 M5 was the original development platform for what became the Eventuri Intake, so it's always fun to have one come in for the kit to be installed.

We also flashed our Stage 2 tune at the same time. The car came in with a remap already, unbeknown to the current owner. The car made good power but thanks to our extensive knowledge of the platform our map managed to pull a little extra power out of the S85 V10.

I have stage 2 with this intake and just the secondaries in an otherwise straight piped exhaust and I got 515 on my most recent dyno at the wheel. What driveline loss factor are you guys using to arrive at these numbers? Can't wait for the eventuri plenum for even more intake sound.

Could you gestimate the power increase if I was to keep the redline at 8, 250 rpm? Also, what was the milage on this one?

Apart form the special edition E60, have you ever heard of a DCT E60 M5. Those ones which claim to have done it (I'm sure you've seen them on certain forums) but never really show the car properly, do you think they've actually managed it? Would be a fantastic addition but seems too good to be true....

Amazing guys!!! such high power gains on a naturally aspirated engine. i just have one question. why doesn’t eventuri make carbon fiber plenum for this? i mean they make it for e92 m3 but not for this. that is kinda sad 😢.

Question for Imran & the guys.
Some dyno owners have the bonnet up while doing runs is that a bit of cheating? i.e more inflow of air more higher bhp number or is that not a issue
