NEW 2024 Vice Pro Golf Ball Review | So impressed

Hi Golf Mad Family, Do you use a VICE golf ball? If so which ball of the range do you use? My gamer golf ball is usually the Vice Pro Plus or the Taylormade TP5x as my swing speeds are generally quite high. But I was gifted a dozen of the NEW 2024 Vice Pro golf balls and wanted to give them a test, So I captured ball data using the GC3 launch monitor and tested them for Performance, Feel and Durability to see if the drop in spin which this golf ball says when compared the pro plus is significant or not.

Nice vid! I’m 53, score in the 80’s. Casual player.

I played a few holes yesterday with a Vice Pro. It was the first time I had ever seen one much less hit one, as I don’t play that much anymore. It’s a brilliant ball, and I’m going to buy a dozen for sure. The one I used was not a 2024, you can tell by the putting/alignment line which was squared off (rectangle) and not the tapered line the 2024 Vice balls have.

I was leaning towards the lime as my favorite ball for years has been the yellow Srixon Z-Star and I tried the yellow Q-Star Tour this year to see if a lower compression was for me. It was a good ball but spins less they I want. My days of trying to crush everything are over so the extra spin from the Vice Pro will be nice. The Z-Star spun plenty for me, but the Vice are $10 (at least) less.

I’m not 100% though… that is a BRIGHT color. Did it take some getting used to?

I’ve watched a few dozen Vice videos now, pretty much jumped into the deep end over the last few days re: the community/culture these balls have. For the price, can they be beat?

The stats are good and the Vice Golf Pro can definitely be a good alternative for many players. Well, I think I will order two or three boxes and test them with the family and also play a round or two with them to experience them in practice, but I don't see any reason for us to change at the moment.
I myself play with the Pro V1 or Pro V1x from Titleist, depending on the weather and course conditions, as does my eldest son (16 years old, currently HCP 6.5). I try out new developments from time to time, but at the moment the Pro V1 (x) is my favourite in terms of trajectory, distance and feel.
My wife (3.5) and our other kids are currently all playing with the Supersoft from Callaway.

i use Seed SD 01 and just ordered seed SD 02 to try 4 ply better for windy conditions

My slower swing speed the Vice Pro Air is by far best for me.
