The guitar solo is a great mix of Santana, jazz licks and light blues. Absolutely awesome

I swear this song was created for the main squeeze. His voice is perfect for it and the entire band killed it. Amazing cover.

first i was blown away by the drummer playing the melody while keeping perfect time on the drums.

then i was locked on the vocalist being an insane singer, performing a basically flawless performance.

then finally that SICK guitar solo completely blew my mind.

I'm a fan guys.
thank you for your inspiration!

I’ve been involved in music for over 40 years, listen to everything from hard rock and metal to jazz and classical, seen 100+ bands, and played in several myself. I’ve got to tell you, that your talent is supreme. Keep going and don’t stop until you hit the top. That’s your designated place of occupancy. God bless.

Massive props to the audio engineer - that sounded amazing. That's also got to be the nicest sounding hi-hat I've heard

Is nobody going to talk about the guy in the back playing two pianos at once?

That reharmonized chorus at the outro got me straight through the heart, my mind almost couldn't comprehend. And don't even get me started on the solo. If you're ever doing a master class I gotta see it. Insane phrasing, insane everything. 100/10.

That guitar tone is amazing. Phrasing on point. The stars alligned that day. So i come back to this video once in a while. Just to experience it all over again.

Things I love about this: the organ pedal bass line; the lead singer's phenomenal vocals, groove, and phrasing; the unbelievable guitar solo; the comping on the organ by the keyboard player when the bass player switches to the bass and guitar solo starts; the groove of that drummer and the melody match on the xylophone; the bass line under the guitar solo... I think you get it.

Everybody gangsta with the guitar solo, but can we just appreciate that this is how you write a good and interesting bassline? So much better than the quarter note root note stuff that most generic music has
