Okay my review kinda thing has a few parts, so here we go...
- The revamps
Honestly, I wasn’t really feeling “starbreaker Zaries.” The proportions are odd, and I miss the original version. The rahkshi head really only works with thinner mocs, or if they are beefier, then the neck needs to have a little more meat to it. Zerec was fine, but he needs more silver on his arms to balance out the silver on his thighs.
- The story
I thought the story was good, but unless it’s a different reality, it goes against the FFEW/HOV canon. Since regular Zaries became Golden Zaries, so how is the normal one still around? I also feel like this “omega cell” kind of came out of the blue, and really only works in a flashy fight scene, rather than the story itself. Finally, Zaries just leaving already happened with his golden form, when he said that he had other worlds to attend to in the HOV finale, so the plot of the fight doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
- The fight itself
As always, your animation and editing surpassed all expectations. The green screen didn’t even look like green screen, but like it was actually filmed outside. The effects were also super impressive, and it felt very classic, as far as your old stuff goes.
- In conclusion
I give this a 6/10. Some of the story didn’t align with the canon(if that’s intentional, then I give it an 8/10), and the mocs were advanced yes, but I wouldn’t consider them your best work. Despite all of my critiques, I really liked seeing how much your content has evolved and changed over the what, eight years? Granted, I do miss the FFEW days, but that’s just nostalgia-based biased. Anyhow, that’s it from me, have a nice day.
