I'm super late to this album but I just love love how despite almost everything centering around the singular image of a hammer smashing something, that image gets invoked with such wide emotional range lyrically and musically. Fury, despair, hope, resolution, mourning, love. So many ways to smash something with a hammer. Amazing album.
