Why does this sound like a complicated math equation?

I understand EXACTLY what you're saying...and it's a necessary conversation. American movies tend to be formulaic, IMO, although that in itself isn't the issue. It a formula that generally works for movie executives, not always the audience. We-the audience-wants a bit more thought in our stories. Fast food is fine in a pinch, but real meals sustain.

All those thumbs up..this is ludicrous. Its mostly the lacking of context tho so nothing personal. And even when you know it he is no where as influential as he sounds..

All I want to know is " how do you send an anonymous email" . And if indeed you can, how do you stop it from being sent to the spam folder?

This makes no sense without more context.

You didn’t accidentally do $hiT to change the way movies in general get made. Standing there saying absolutely nothing… “It’s TRREEEAHHHJJJ.” 🙄 Word used so out of context without proper reference.

I can already tell this guy is about my age. I was born in 1984. I'm a millennial. (Elder/Geriatric, you pick) Let me be clear. It is MY generation that has ruined cinema. With nostalgic remakes, reboots, and re-imaginings. I suggest, since none of my generational brethren has an ounce of independent creativity, if you're gonna keep remaking, rebooting re-imagining films, #1: leave classics alone. They are classic for a reason and you're not gonna make it any better, you're only going to taint what made the original great. #2: Go find movies that were sh*t but had potential and make them great. #3: Find the crappiest, would never see the light of day movies and transform them into great films. That's all if you really can't come up with something new on your own. These assembly line style movies have ruined cinema. Cinema is an art. CGI is fun, but storytelling is better. Period. Not everyone is authentically creative. Chris Farley wasn't a stand up. He wasn't a writer. But he could take what other people wrote and make it his own. That's still a skill and an art form. But the movies we get today are mass produced and totally unoriginal and uninspiring. And if you're paying attention, it's the millennials mostly and Gen X that have killed movies. Do better Hollywood. Do better. Cuz Tarantino is only doing one more movie, guys. And whatever he makes might be the last film of any substance if Hollywood doesn't step its game up. Quality over quantity, passion over profits.
