My brother had been a Christian but went through a bad divorce, years of depression and turned to drugs and alcohol for comfort. He did a lot of bad things and we didn't talk for years. God brought reconciliation and he ended up with hepatic encepholophy. I was with him when he died and prayed with him for forgiveness. I know he prayed with me because I saw tears in his eyes. The next morning he suddenly opened his eyes (first time since i got there) and was looking at the ceiling with this look of wonder on his face. Then he opened them again with the same look on his face. He died a few minutes later so peacefully I didn't know exactly when he had passed. As long as we have breath its never too late to ask Jesus for forgiveness. Thanks to God.

I have a friend who used to be a CNA at the hospital in our town
She said that one night a man started to actively die and then he kept screaming that his feet were burning his feet were burning
She went into his room and said I'm not supposed to say this but if you pray and ask God for forgiveness your feet will quit burning.
They prayed together and his feet quit burning and he passed peacefully that night.
Amen God ❤

A friend of mine deteriorated from dementia. Her husband had to admitted her in a nursing home. On one day I felt the need to go and see her after work. That day her husband left early from his visitation at the nursing home. She was a beautiful, loving Christian Lady. She used to teach at a Christian School. And she was the pianist in our church.
When I went to see her, she never opened her eyes. I sang some hymns for her and I prayed. Then I used my cell looking for more hymns, and out of a blue I find her favorite hymns that talk about heaven, children and being with Jesus.
I put my cell closer to her ears so she could enjoy it. I saw her tears coming down her cheeks…and she expired peacefully 🙏 Right then and there I praise and thanks The Lord for allowed me such privilege that his servant wasn’t alone at the time she closed her eyes and went to rest until that glorious day that Our Lord will call her name ❤️

My grandfather died at 86. At the funeral the pastor said that as he was visiting my grandfather, he asked him had he been saved. My grandfather told him he had not and that he always believed in God but never went to church ect. They prayed together and he accepted Jesus as his savior and repented. The preacher said something that’s stuck with me for 28 years now. He said, “Isn’t it great that he accepted Jesus after 86 years of life? But, that means he spent 86 years without knowing Jesus. Get to know Jesus and develop a relationship with Him. He is the best friend you will ever know.”

So, , I'm a 45 year nurse...I could preach a sermon on this topic...she hit the nail on the head...saw a woman die, , it had the same feeling...difficult to explain the evil presence..terrible feeling..she made horrible faces and made screeching noise..I'll never forget it...But, , I also can share many GOOD transitions of death. People who were peaceful...if you don't believe in Jesus Christ as the Risen Savior, , , you have to believe something is going on...PLEASE ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR...HE DIED FOR YOU!

My grandmother was dying and was seeing all these scary things in her hospital room. When ever I had asked her if she was a Christian, all she would holler back is, I have been a Christian all my life. A friend came to the hospital, led her to the Lord, and all she saw then were flowers, cute little chipmunks and squirrels, and beauty. She died giggling and smiling. And at peace.

I consider my greatest accomplishment on earth is accepting the salvation Jesus gave to me on the cross. He provided us a way to repent by His own blood. I don't want to ever be without Him.

After witnessing to my 87 y.o. dad for 30 years, 4 days before he passed away, and the hospital staff said he had another year to live at least, my dad humbled himself--one of the rare occasions to do so in my life--bowed his head and asked me what he needed to do. He repented of his sins, believed Jesus paid the price for his sins on the cross, and thanked Him for His forgiveness. It was precious and powerful. Never give up on your unsaved loved ones!

My grandfather woke up from a coma shortly before he died. He could see and hear many angels singing. He kept asking if everyone else could see them.

I’ll never forget taking care of a dying elderly woman in. The ICU. She suddenly woke about 3am from being barely alert for several days, sat up and with a look on her face of joy and excitement with tears in her eyes crying out “I’ve missed you so much! There you all are! It’s so beautiful!” ….tears in her eyes I tell you. Her gaze at something in the room, but also was not in the room at the same time, was something I can’t forget. She passed later that morning.

I totally believe her. When I was in high school my choir went to a contest 10 hrs away. We traveled to a town on the way and performed at a church. Then we stayed at a hotel. There were about six girls in my room visiting and all of a sudden there was this sense of evil that FILLED the room. I had never experienced anything like it. It almost felt physical. At first we were all scared and we sat around the bed holding hands and telling our darkest secrets, we then began to pray in earnest for God to pour Himself into us and to make the evil leave. It wasn’t instant, but after a while I felt like God had His hand on my shoulder. The room was FILLED with God’s love. There was not even a trace of evil. I’ve never experienced anything like it since. This was about 52 years ago. It is still one of the most profound moments in all of our lives.

Her story brings to mind a resident who lived in a nursing home where I worked. She had multiple medical conditions, one of which was dialysis 3 times a week, and had decided she no longer wanted it. She was a no code status, meaning no CPR should she expire. One day at the common dining area, she was sitting in her wheelchair with her lunch in front of her, untouched. I approached and asked her if she’d like help with her meal. She accepted and I proceeded to feed her. After she had eaten a good portion, including some apple pie, she said “you know, I think I’ve had enough”. I started to push her chair to her room so she could lie down, and just like that, she passed. It seemed to be peaceful for her and I was so glad for that. I felt that I was blessed to be able to perform one last act of kindness for her. God grant you rest, Cheryl, you are missed♥️

My grandma told me a few days before my grandpa died in their living room. ( He had lung cancer and died at 57) He told her he was at peace, he saw angels and they told him everything was going to be okay. ❤️

God sent me to share the gospel with a person in hospice. I walked in the room, it was unnaturally dark or dim and a strange feel to the room. I was like Oh Lord, what is this, what should I pray for, I heard God say PEACE. SO, I prayed for peace. As soon as I said Amen, a dark shadow around the person's bed shot up into the ceiling, and the room lit up brightly. Visitors in the room did not notice the change.
