It's a great tool.. but I find it works better in small / specific chunks.lately I've been trying to use it with Talon Voice, it's an awesome pair for voice coding (you can dictate code into the AI.. instead of talking robot)

Chat gpt will give the most simple solution it can find unless you specifically give prompts to it to do extra stuff to make the code faster.

Chat gpt has helped me so much as a programmer I can't even tell you. Stuff that took hours to find proper functions for or debug is now a few minutes work for me. It has hugely increased my efficiency.

It all depends on how you ask it. Knowing the test cases more or less and feeding all the necessary info to chatgpt, I bet you could easily pass 9/10 when asking and improving during an hour. I used it to pass quite a difficult class at uni that needed me to complete several tests that only had names attached to them. The only thing I was missing was time. But I nearly did the whole course work in 2-3 days, having barely even touched the materials. In all the cases, the first solution was never the correct one and passed any tests whatsoever, but after a few tries and questions that elaborated what I needed, I got over 80% in all of the tasks. It can’t solve everything but it can save a lot of time that you would use to search for the solution, especially when you are in the unknown.

This test is missing the point of chat gpt, yes it isn't going to make good code, but godamn does it significantly reduce the time, give you pointers, increase your productivity, almost negate your need to memorize anything, cut your googling and stack overflowing down by 98%, allow you to focus on the higher level problem, open your eyes out to new libraries while teaching you how to use them, and completly revolutionize the programming environment, chat gpt is a tool an incredible tool so good that it is Usally better than having a highly intelligent senior coding partner. A better test would be code I made on my own to solve this problem vs code i made with the help of chatgpt to solve this problem i think it would take less than half the time and pass 10/10 test cases, dont compete with it work with it.
