I lived in the "OC" for 10 years from 2000 to 2010, but at the time I was apolitical and didn't pay any attention to the political environment. Looking back it was apparently very republican during that time, but recent stories have indicated that it is turning blue, i.e. Katie Porter 💁. I do hope she is reelected. She's brilliant and cares deeply about addressing corruption and the welfare of the underprivileged, something the GOP could care less about.

Linda and Mel, I can’t sleep. I have been so upset about the school shooting that my heart and chest actually feel tight. Tomorrow morning I go back to my own 3rd graders where I teach and have to just hug them. I won’t know what to say. My heart can’t take more of this. 💔 I pray the angels gathered around each child and teacher to help them and their families. Prayers for the families of Robb Elementary.

I used to live in Sedona. Everyone living and working there have stories of ufo activity and experiences. We used to tell each other about recent encounters at lunch break. I saw triangular shaped ships and large and small discs both day and night. One disc flew low directly over my car coming back from Cottonwood toward Sedona. It flew directly INto the mountain outcropping that pops up out of the desert on your left (facing Sedona). Also, sometimes when I'd come to work in the morning, my computer screen had tiny little human handprints and footprints on the screens. Everybody at work saw them. There was/is never a dull moment in Sedona :)

When I was in Cuzco (on my way to Machu Pichu) back in 2011, I stayed at a hostel. One evening I saw a dark shadow with long legs & arms jump from one roof to another. I saw this from the bedroom window. The space between the two roofs was more than 10 ft! I immediately went to look but saw nothing on the other roof. I closed the window & the shutters. I was petrified😱 The next morning I went to eat breakfast & told the staff what had happened. A lady responded smiling,
"Oh, you're lucky you saw an APUS." She said an apus is an entity that comes to give good or bad news... usually about health. Two months later, I went for my mamagram and lo & behold I had stage 1 breast cancer on my right breast. (Thankfully, I'm OK after radiation treatments). I will NEVER ever forget that experience. Peruvians know lots about ETS. They see them all the time.

I went to Sedona, about 16 years ago. I was supposed to go with several girlfriends, but they decided not to go; so I went on my own. I checked into the hotel, the agent, told me to walk through a door he pointed at, and to go the left where I would be able to find my room. I walked thru the door and to my surprise, and actually to my delight, I was greeted by a huge valley, an expanse of open space I was not prepared for and a blanket of stars above. Living in the city, we don't get a chance to see the stars that well. Went to my room, got settled, including placing next to me bed a book of matches, a candle, a book, can't remember which one I had, but something spiritual as I intended on doing some meditation before going to sleep. My room overlooked the Main Street and it had a huge picture window, in which I see the street lamp light reflecting into my room. I ws happy about that, because most of my life I have slept with some manner of light on. I also left the light on in the bathroom, with just enough of a crack in the door so that I would not have too much light disturbing my sleep. I went to sleep. Then I don't know what time it was; I shot straight up in my bed and to my horror found that the room I was now in was completely dark! I looked to my right; the street lamp out where the picture window would have been located was off. The light I had left on in the bathroom was off and I could hear a very, very strange sound - for sure alien like -- but for me the terror was not the sound itself, but rather that here I am in Sedona, with the intention of trying to address some of my inner issues and MY WORST NIGHTMARE PRESENTED ITSELF TO ME-which was being engulfed in complete darkness, completely alone and feeling like I was the only one on the planet. I quickly reached, to find my matches and candle. Thank God/dess I had them with me and quickly lit it. I looked at the clock and it was about 3:00 AM. Needless to say I did not sleep well the rest of the night. It was so difficult for me that I checked out of the hotel the very next day, although I was supposed to stay a week, and returned home to SF. I wish I had been more courageous to face my fear, for I believe things happen for a reason. I have not given up completely going back to Sedona. It is an absolutely stunning place. I also ate an a restaurant, sorry I do not know the name, but the food was superb. It was on the Main Street and they served cactus -- it was surprisingly delicious. I am going to try to copy this story and past into Linda's page as well. I hope I can do so without the text becoming corrupted. I noticed that does occur sometimes with You Tube; where it will cross out copied text. Weird. Glad you all had a good trip!

Linda, regarding not being able to sleep - I use to travel a lot and sometimes could and sometimes couldn't sleep. I finally figured out it mattered what direction my head lay in to sleep. I sleep best NE. Next time that happens try laying in a different direction. I think you'll be surprised, believe it's a fung shui thing. As always, love you guys!
