Ghana race to secure IMF bailout as economy falters

With people becoming increasingly angry about the rising cost of living in Ghana, parliament is set to vote on whether to sack the finance minister.
It follows major protests over the prices of food, fuel and transport.
The government has approached the International Monetary Fund for help.

The country exports crude oil yet it imports the refined oil at market prices!
Their farmers grow tomatoes yet they import processed tin tomatoes from Europe.
Any wonder why they are in a economic mess.

I saw a couple of years ago the president complaining about Western countries. Now he is begging them. African leaders are only talk and no substance.
Next is Ethiopia. Ethipia is asking the World Food Programme for help while it's PM is building a palace worth $1 Billion dollar.

The IMF need to consider helping Ghana during its Economic crisis to allow a financial injection into Ghana's economy . This will keep factories and businesses in operation with hard working employees making a living overcome difficult times.
