How to install Ionic 5 development environment in windows 10 complete guide

This Ionic Framework tutorial for beginners shows how to install and configure your Ionic Framework Development Environment from scratch. Ionic is a mobile application development framework. We start off by installing the Java JDK and configuring it by adding the Java JDK bin folder to our path and configuring the JAVA_HOME environment variable.

We then go on to downloading, installing, and configuring Android Studio. Here we explore how to download the Android SDK components and setting up an Android Virtual Device (AVD) also known as an Android Emulator. We also configure the ANDROID_HOME environment variable that points to the Android SDK. This allows us to be able to build, test and deploy Android applications.

We will then install nodejs and Node Package Manager NPM. Using NPM, we finally install Ionic 5 together with the native bridge Cordova which will allow us to package our Ionic 5 apps for the iOS and Android platforms.

Finally, we will need a code editor and source code management tool, so we will conclude by installing and configuring Visual Studio Code (VScode) and Git for windows.

the installer i downloaded was jdk-8u271 because it is the only version of JAVA SE 8. It says JDK Mission Control (JMC) was not included and seperate download. should i download it in additional resources area from oracle website and install it?no more further settings on it?thank u

On app build/run l get error gradle not found please install android studio ....everything was working fine before I reinstalled windows.. Now I can't get over that error ... Even downloaded gradle standalone and added to path but makes no difference, now Im fucked..
My best guess I that newest version of android studio changed but Cordova didn't, so im stuck here and can't build my app anymore
