'One Tree Hill' by U2 (Instrumental Cover)

(RE-UPLOAD: apologies to those of you who caught the first few minutes of this video being live. I realized with horror shortly after uploading that I'd accidentally muted my cowbell track in Cubase, haha. Given that this is one of the few U2 songs that features cowbell, I just couldn't let the mistake slide. ANYWAY).

Based on the original JT tour version. I tried something a little different this time with the drum programming, since the hi-hats are so dynamic in this song; rather than map in the hi-hat changes as midi notes (as I usually do), I used CC messages and my keyboard's modulation wheel to control the opening and closing of the hi-hat. The result is a little more realistic, IMO. Let me know what you think.

This video is so perfect! This is my favorite U2 song and I feel like your cover really enhances the song. Being instrumental also makes me focus on aspects of the song I normally wouldn't. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece!
