A lazy dog has been caught on camera flopping down onto the ground, refusing to budge, while on his walk in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Musician and Retail Assistant Micah Warzywak had seen the dog do the same thing in another video a while ago and, after recognising him straight away, he knew he had to record the hilarious moment as the dog's owner tried his best to get him to move.

Micah said: "From what I heard there is nothing wrong with the dog, it's perfectly healthy.

"It just decides to be lazy and decides where and whenever it wants to plop down and not want to move."

Mine is just the same. Lazy creatures despite lots of energy and the need for exercise 40-60 minutes a day. Today though, he did something i have nevr had any of my dogs do, namely, bite the hand that feeds him. Currently studying why my docile lazy golden retriever suddenly turned feral. Never seen him like that before, in fact, never seen a golden retriever anywhere do what he did today. He has had only a life of love and cuddles, is 2 years old, and suddenly went feral as a Doberman in Heat. Which shows that the bloogs that repeat what the blogger has read in some other blog about GR dogs, are BS, when they say good with small children. Because even though they are, one single bad moment, the jaws of a golden retriever could snap the neck of an adult, never mind a child. I would not recommend them for families with small kids, despite their fame for softness. If my soft dog bit me on the hand drawing blood in three incisions, then he would bite a baby's face too. Proving a Golden is not 100% secure to leave with kids
