Hi Paul I prefer no 3 as you can see more of the water and I think this brings a little touch more to the photo with the shadows in it great original photo tho cheers raymond

Totally number 1. That was a magnificent shot of your daughter. Wonderful channel Paul. Really enjoy your videos. I'm making my way through them all

Definitely the original picture with the axis in the centre. That definitely works best with the reflected symmetrical image of your daughter.

I like how the clouds, sky and sea turned very blue there. It made the photo amazing, very artistic and it makes a great piece of abstract art in its own right. It's more amazing then if the sky and sea had been left at their natural colour. I'm often playing around with the hue slider or even the normal adjustment sliders if I want to turn a photo more artistic. I'm just one of those guys that like to make things look crazy. If I can turn a quite normal photo in to some crazy but cool looking piece of art, then I will, though my friends don't often like them, but then art can be anything. It's what you're happy looking at that matters. I know they aren't that keen on art anyway, so I'm never offended they don't like them. Though it's a bit of a worry, as I'd like to make a career out of my art and photography soon and I'm always thinking, if all of them don't like it, what hope have I got of selling enough to make a living out of it.

Thankyou Paul.
I want to begin taking silhouette photography. I'm going to Townsville to visit my daughter 24th Sept. She is studying ro be a vet. I'm also taking my younger daughter with me. Both girls dislike photos of themselves.. however... I believe silhouette photographs may be a great way to capture them that they will like.

G'day Paul, another crackin vid mate, IMO pic 3 was the best one as the reflection off the bigger expanse of water seemed to make the rest of the photo join together.

By the way, you look so much like my old school mate Matt. I've only recently found your channel and am enjoying the videos. Some things I knew, but some I didn't. But I find it always great to watch tutorial videos to see what extras you can pick up and see if someone does something better or different then I have been doing.

How about a comparison of the different post photo software, such as Lightroom or Photoshop? Which ones do you recommend? Thanks for all your tutorials.

Of the three versions of your daughter, I prefer #3. For me, it's a more powerful image and has an empowering feel to it.

Actually, these are three completely different images for me; and I can see value in all of them. My choice would depend on the story I want the picture to tell. All these versions of the image are appealing to me. Each has a different feel and tells me a different story.
