How to record from Sky q mini box to Sony DVD recorder without copy protection.

Then

1080P HDMI To SCART Composite Video Scaler Converter Audio Adapter for DVD SKY

And then plugged in and set up to record or transfer.

This is exactly how I have recorded from sky Q. I notice this is a sony dvd recorder
which I have too. However when trying to record to a more modern panasonic recorder
the input signal is always in 4.3 aspect ratio. I have tried the record settings and changed
to 16.9 but still no joy!

This is recording from an old Sky+ box, not SkyQ!!

I agree. That’s not sky q setup and you cannot dub from sky q mini. Tried all sorts but to no avail. You have to dub from main box. I5 can be done but someone needs to explain clearly with words, show how to connect everything instead of silent useless video.

Yes this does not work on sky Q mini box. Unless you have something extra connected and not shown

You can not record from Sky Q because Sky own everything on Sky Q, and it is illegal to copy anything from whom they owned. Afraid so!!!
