I'm just glad the show isn't an exact 1:1 adaptation of the comics... because there are some things in the comics that I'd much rather they didn't explore since it changes my perception of the characters... and not necessarily for the better.

I know that eve was disappointed to find out that a version of her had a miserable life thinking about what could have been and never being able to tell mark the truth. To be fair that version of eve had rex as her only bf(like this eve) and he died. So I am guessing she got so afraid after rex s death that the idea of losing someone she loved( like she loved rex) scared her to the point she didnt want to have another bf again. Not that she didnt regret that in the end
