Tronxy X3 Quick Connect and Laser Engraving
Показать описание
In this Video, I go over some addons and modifications I did to the Tronxy X3 which include laser engraving capabilities as well as quick change tooling. I give a brief tutorial on how to create your Gcode for your images as well as how the quick-change tooling works. All the designs for the tooling setup can be found on my Thingiverse page and Links for models, files, and purchased items can be found below.
Please note for the wiring setup I have implemented that you do this at your own risk as there is a chance you could melt the connect on at the hot end for the heater element if you are not careful. The wiring setup can be done any number of ways and I give one example in the video. Also, when laser engraving please do so in a well-ventilated area as there are quite a bit of fumes generated and use all precautions such as protective eye wear when dealing with lasers.
Also note that due to the Hot end assemblies on the X3 and X1 being identical it is possible to implement this modification including laser functionality on the X1 3D Printer
