I once calculated how many drops I needed per gram. Markers weigh about 12-14 grams when full. It took me 10+ drops per gram. Your method is perfect for rewetting them to keep going, but to refill to its full capacity, it’s probably easier to take the tip out. But do what’s best for you. There’s no best way. Just the best way for you. :)

actually, im pretty sure the nib is removable, and you're supposed to take the nib out, and then squeeze the ink into the hole
